All our policies regarding our online store.
We currently take payment via Credit Card or Paypal. We use a third party payment gateway “eWay” to securely process credit card payments. We do not store any credit card information.
We only ship within Australia.
Shipping is provided by courier. Cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on the dimensions and weight of the products and the delivery address. While all care is taken to ensure shipping quoted is accurate, we may occasionally make a mistake and need to revise the shipping cost. If this happens we’ll let you know and give you the option of paying an additional fee or refunding and cancelling your order.
All care is taken to pack orders safely, however once orders have been shipped, the item is the responsibility of you the customer and the courier company. The Hop + Grain is not responsible for items missing or damaged in transit. Please consider this when making high value purchases. If you have any concerns let us know as we can arrange transport assurance if required. Where loss or damage occurs we will do our best to facilitate a satisfactory resolution, however replacements or refunds are at the sole discretion of The Hop + Grain.
If you elect to have your parcel “safe dropped” (also called ATL – Authority To Leave parcel unattended), we will not offer a replacement for missing or damaged items under any circumstances.
We pack and dispatch orders during our normal business hours from Wednesday through to Sunday. If you place an order online we endeavour to pack it and dispatch it with the courier as quickly as possible, however we can only pack and dispatch orders during the days we operate and occasionally we may need extra time to pack your order. Delivery times estimated during the checkout refer to courier transit time and doesn’t account for picking and packing your order, so please allow us time to pack the order and have it dispatched. If you require an order urgently or for a specific date feel free to call to confirm we have the stock and can dispatch quickly.
Refunds, returns and exchanges are not accepted, except in the case of faulty products. We abide by Australian Consumer Law, beyond which refunds, returns and exchanges are at the discretion of The Hop + Grain.
Brewing requires an element of skill, we do not offer refunds in the instance that your brew doesn’t turn out as you had planned as this is not considered to be a product fault.
Gift certificates can be redeemed for products online or in-store, and for class tickets. Gift certificates up to and including $100 expire 3 months from the date of purchase. Certificates over $100 expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order.
We make every effort to ensure the content on this website is accurate, however we are just human, mistakes can happen. Any information on this site (including pricing) may be corrected at any time. If you place an order for an item and it turns out to be incorrectly marked, we may cancel/refund your order.
We collect your information when you make a purchase or sign up to our mailing list. We don’t share this information with any third party except for the purposes implied (shipping providers, mailing services), we use this information only for contacting you regarding your purchase, fulfilling the order, and if you give us permission for sending occasional promotional emails.
