Talus’ Talon – 10L All Grain Kit

 Our all grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make 10L using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your prefered equipment such as a Grainfather (micro pipework required). You will also need a set of scales for measuring hops.

 

All our all-grain kits contains a milled grain bill, hops, yeast, and any other items required for the style (such as kettle finings, spices, brewing salts), as well as a recipe card.

The Style:

When Talus first came to the shop, I was absolutely blown away.  Daughter of Sabro, Talus has some characteristics of its mother, but being wild pollinated, it took on many other characteristics.  Most find Sabro pretty single use in Aroma, and very powerful with coconut.  Talus on the palette goes from Pink Grapefruit, to Coconut, to Piney, to Peppery.  It is also a dual purpose hop and can be used for bittering and aroma.  We have used Talus as a dry hopped Saison and were absolutely blown away.  This recipe is purposefully built for Talus, and without further words, I’ll let the recipe speak for itself!
